Adamah Urban Agriculture Shabbaton

The Urban Ag Shabbaton brings the Adamah fellows from Isabella Freedman to Boston for a weekend of exploring food sustainability within the context of a city. Fellows look at issues of equality, access, and empowerment at The Food Project, open space and land use at the Arnold Arboretum, self-sustainability at the Victory Gardens, and the connection between Jewish institutions and food with Ganei Beantown. Hosted by past Adamahniks, fellows are introduced to the Boston Jewish food justice community and connect with local alumni as they begin to envision their lives post-Adamah.
